“Providence One Builders recently managed a kitchen renovation in our home which involved gutting the existing kitchen and removing a bearing wall between the kitchen and formal dining room. We originally met with several contractors about the job but the minute we met with Dave, we knew he was the one we wanted to hire to manage the project. With his team, we created an entirely new kitchen space which includes a large island counter, all new cabinetry, shiplap detail on the ceiling and walls, new lighting, a new window, new flooring and renovation to our mudroom. Providence One Builders completed a major renovation for us on our home that included significant interior work (new kitchen, new master bathroom, new hardwood flooring, shiplap finishes, electrical etc) and a brand new exterior with stucco removal, new Hardie plank siding, new windows on the entire house, and a new outdoor living area in the backyard. It was a big project that was handled professionally, on time, and on budget - from beginning to end with no real issues. Selecting a contractor can be difficult and stressful- but we felt 100% comfortable with Dave from the first day we met him at our kitchen table. We contacted Dave Hopkins at Providence One about building a custom home for our special needs family at a location on Swedesford Road in Malvern. Dave was patient with us and took the time to investigate and explain alternatives to the many design points in terms of time and cost and practicality. Once the building began, Dan Giandonato became our main contact. He met with us about once a week and as often as needed show us the progress, explain the building process, and resolve any issues (there were very few). Once he understood some of our needs, he made some helpful proposals that increased the effectiveness of our new home. Once ground was broken, he established a 5 month schedule and adhered to it, so we knew exactly what to expect and when to plan to move in…The build was awesome!

His main on site man, Dan is absolutely wonderful. The type of person that I missed having around when the project was complete. Both Dave and Dan aren’t the typical construction/builders. When I called or texted either of them, I always received a timely response. Nothing I asked for was ever a problem for them, even when I knew it was being nitpicky. They kept us on budget and provided necessary opinions when needed. I trusted them completely every day when I walked out of my house, often with a house full of strangers.
